An important report was issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)
Maharashtra, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, among others, would experience heavy to very heavy rainfall.
Several areas were also issued orange and red alerts by the IMD.
As well as these states, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh have also been alerted since they are likely to experience heavy rainfall over the next few days. Additionally, several northern states have been warned to expect light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
According to the IMD, heavy rainfall is expected in multiple states over the next few days, most likely from July 15 to 18. There is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in the following states.

IMD in a recent weather update warned that rain and thunderstorms may occur in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi in the next few days.
