Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann flagged off the first batch of 36 government school principals for their visit to Singapore for professional training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The principals will participate in a professional teacher training seminar in Singapore from February 6-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\u00a0Aam Aadmi Party\u00a0had before last year\u2019s assembly polls given a \u201cguarantee\u201d to people that the education system will be completely transformed in the state, Mann said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cToday, the first batch of 36 school principals is going to Singapore and they will take part in a five-day training camp there. At the principal\u2019s academy in Singapore, they will undergo the latest techniques in the education sector,\u201d the chief minister told reporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first batch will return on February 11 and they will share their experience with their colleagues, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mann said the way the Delhi government has been transformed by the\u00a0Arvind Kejriwal\u00a0dispensation, Punjab will witness the same transformative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have talented teachers.
