The woman’s family filed a complaint at Firozabad Medical College, according to Principal Dr Sangeeta Aneja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman’s father, who works in the bangle-making industry, said, “The private hospital asked Rs 20,000 for normal delivery.” My daughter laying on a stretcher for over six hours in pain on a stretcher after consulting the district field officer of the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO). However, no doctor showed up to help her.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A nurse took her to the labour room after a delay of over six hours. Her baby boy had breathing problems when he was born. It was forbidden for the family to see the child, and he was taken to a special unit for new-borns. The child died the next morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the fact that the family couldn’t afford treatment at a private hospital, I called the family to the medical college. NACO field officer Sarita Yadav said, “I had been in constant contact with the HIV-positive woman. The woman was in a lot of pain and no doctor or hospital staffer approached her. I requested medical assistance for hours. I informed senior officials of the incident.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After getting separated from her husband a year after her wedding, the woman moved in with her parents in Firozabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
