According to Sumit Thakur, CPRO of Western Railway zone, “The Vande Bharat Express offers a myriad of superior amenities, providing passengers with an aircraft-like journey as well as advanced safety features, including Kavach technology – an indigenously developed Train Collision Avoidance System.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has bogies with completely suspended traction motors for a maximum operating speed of 160 kmph, as well as an improved suspension system that provides a smooth and safe ride as well as better riding experience for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Thakur, all classes had reclining chairs, and Executive Coach seats rotate 180 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“each coach has a 32-inch screen providing passengers with information and entertainment. Divyang-friendly washrooms and Braille seat numbers are also available.”
