Fraud has been reported at the Kanpur Provident Fund office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was an arrest made by the CBI team in Sarvodaya Nagar, Kanpur, a few days ago for taking bribes worth lakhs of rupees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the raids, members of the vigilance team scrutinized files, which are being investigated for accusations of fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The local officers of the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner&#8217;s Office received complaints from 639 establishments belonging to the Provident Fund office, according to a senior officer at the Provident Fund office who wished to remain anonymous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A number of fake companies were created by the officials, who then opened their accounts and transferred the entire Provident Fund amount.
