“I had a lot of fun with the first winnings and enjoyed every bit of it,” the woman told SCEL. “This time I’m going to buy a house.”
Just last month, a man’s trip to the grocery store turned out to be a life-changing errand when he won $2 million (or more than Rs. 15 crore) without intending to buy a ticket in the first place.
“I ran out of milk, and I needed it for my morning coffee,” the winner recounted with the South Carolina state lottery agency.
He was on his way out of a Food Lion store when he looked over at the customer service counter to notice a Powerball ticket and casually decided to buy it.
However, when he looked up his ticket number online the next day, the lucky winner found he had become crorepati, times 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
