Six people have been arrested in the killing of Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala from Uttarakhand on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANI cited Special Task Force sources as saying that Punjab Police detained six people from Dehradun’s Peliyon Police Chowki area after a joint operation with Uttarakhand STF and Punjab STF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Punjab’s Mansa district, Moosewala, 28, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Sunday, a day after the state government revoked his security cover. His cousin and a friend, who were travelling in a Mahindra Thar vehicle with him, were also injured in the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Punjab’s recent assembly election, he ran on a Congress ticket from Mansa and lost to AAP’s Vijay Singla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This appears to be an inter-gang case (Moosewala’s killing).” He added that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was responsible for the crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The killing site yielded three weapons and 30 empty cartridge cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Punjab Police temporarily curtailed security on Saturday for 424 people, including Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
