Officials from Vishnu Nagar police station said the man’s face was smashed beyond recognition, adding that they suspect he was murdered on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
Unidentified persons have been charged under Indian Penal Code Section 302 (murder) and a postmortem has been ordered, the official said.
