Goldy Brar, the Canadian gangster accused of murdering singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala, has reportedly been detained in the US state of California.
There has been no official confirmation on the matter, who claimed responsibility for killing Moose Wala, is being held in the United States.
Brar’s detention has been reported to RAW, IB, Delhi Police special cell, and Punjab intelligence.
Lawrence Bishnoi, a gangster in police custody, is a close aide of Brar.
The state government had curtailed Moosewala’s security cover just a day before he was killed in Punjab’s Mansa district.
The Times of India reported that Brar’s father, Balkaur Singh, didn’t believe his son was detained.
The biggest relief for me would be if the arrest had been made, if the authorities produced some evidence.
As a reward for information leading to Brar’s arrest, Moosewala’s father demanded the Union government announce a reward of Rs 2 crore on Thursday.
