A mobile gaming app developer has been arrested by the ED

As part of the investigation into mobile gaming app E-Nuggets, the Enforcement Directorate arrested Romen Agarwal on Friday.

His arrest was reported under the PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act), 2002, by the agency.

An investigation agency said that Romen Agarwal has been involved in inter/intra-country transfers of ill-gotten money received from criminals, both inside and outside the country. According to the agency, he arranged for the parking, routing, and transfer of funds generated from illegal activities. According to the report, he had also parked funds received from E-Nuggets app and app developer Aamir Khan in his crypto exchange account.

The ED has arrested Aamir Khan and produced him before the Kolkata Special Court (PMLA), which has granted ED custody of him until October 28. Investigations are ongoing.

In an effort to defraud the public, Aamir Khan launched a mobile gaming app called E-Nuggets, according to the agency. In addition, once the app had collected money from the public, withdrawals from it were suddenly halted under various pretexts.
